Benner's Hotel is a well know Dingle landmark. Well known in Dingle anyway. It was the only hotel in Dingle a hundred years ago

Apparently there is a large controversy regarding the name Dingle (vs. An Daingean) that has been well documented on a storefront. Something tells me the proprieter has an opinion

Fungie the Dolphin adopted Dingle in 1983 and has become Dingle's mascot

We bought a few sweaters at the Dingle Woolen Company

We took a drive out towards the tip of the Dingle Peninsula and stopped to take our picture in front of some beehive huts.

We drove by the Pub that was closest to home

We stopped at the Great Blasket Centre

The Centre had some excellent art

and exhibits

The name of this island is "Sleeping Giant"

We were at the tip of the Peninsula

We headed back to Dingle to look for more food

We found some food at Fenton's Restaurant.

We walked around Dingle a little more after dinner

As the daylight ebbed the lights came on

My last shot of Dingle precedes my first shot of

Cashel Town

We found my great-grandparents coat of arms painted on the side of a building in Cashel Town
