Apparently
there is a large controversy regarding the name Dingle (vs. An Daingean)

|

We bought a few sweaters at the Dingle Woolen Company |

We took a drive out towards the tip of the Dingle Peninsula and stopped
to take our picture in front of some beehive huts. |

We drove by the Pub that was closest to home |

We stopped at the Great Blasket Centre |

The Centre had some excellent art |

and exhibits |

The name of this island is "Sleeping Giant" |

We were at the tip of the Peninsula |

We headed back to Dingle to look for more food |

We found some food at Fenton's Restaurant. |

We walked around Dingle a little more after dinner |

As the daylight ebbed the lights came on |

My last shot of Dingle precedes my first shot of |

Cashel Town |

We found my great-grandparents coat of arms painted on the side of a
building in Cashel Town |
