The next day we went to Civita di Bagnoregio

Originally Siena was going to create a massive church, but they had to cut back when reality set in. This is what is left of the scaled back plans.

You can still climb stairs to stand on top of old structure. This is the view of Il Campo (town center) from the top of that structure.
